Louisiana born porn star Stormy Daniels is seriously considering adding her name to the senate ballot, according to an interview aired on CNN. If committed, Daniels would be contesting current Louisiana senator David Vitter (R-La.), the senator who was notoriously involved in a prostitution scandal after his telephone number was found on the client list of Deborah Jeane Palfrey’s , A.K.A the “DC Madam”, prostitution service.
The 30 year old actress, and former Baton Rouge stripper, went on to comment on the irony of the scandal by stating that her profession is legal, whilst engaging in prostitution is not.
Meanwhile, her candidacy still in the air, she engages people from her state by going on so-called “listening tours” to sort of gauge the response to her candidacy. So far Ms. Daniels has characterized the encounters as “positive” and hopes to take out from them a sense of what the people in her state need, as well as what her would-be constituents would like her to fight for.
Promoters of her candidacy have set up a website, calling her a “clean-slate”. If you’re from Louisiana, you can help draft Stormy Daniels by visiting the website a draftstormy.com.
