Ron Paul ignored by media

The Pew Research Center has released findings which show Texas Congressman, Ron Paul, receives little media coverage on his 2012 presidential candidacy.

The centers Project for Excellence in Journalism shows Paul carries just 2 percent of news headlines, a topic of concern among some Paul supporters.

Supporters have criticized the major media outlets for allegedly ignoring the candidate and dismissing the libertarian stance.

Congressman Paul has a history of strong, and sometimes extreme, stances. His End the Fed argument calls for the abolition of the Federal Reserve and an overhaul of Americas economic system. However his arguments on the deficit, health-care and the string of bail-outs has garnered support.

Pauls campaign has not ignored the under-reporting and is taking advantage of the stance. RonPaul2012.com, the official campaign website, displays a photo of Ron Paul as censored and is asking for donations.
